Today we will cook a traditional dish of Spanish Cuisine, the Recipe for Beef Stew; and we will make a very simple way, in addition we serve to have a dish for several days if we wish, like all stews the more rested this better, so we can cook the day before and so we recipe ready for lunch. – 1 kg of meat to cook (a meat 2nd, which is a dish according to the household economy).
– 1 onion cut into squares.
– 2 cloves of garlic cut into squares.
– 1 glass of white wine.
– Paprika, parsley, bay leaf, salt.

And cook until the meat is tender.
To accelerate the process, we can cook the Recipe for Stewed Meat in a pressure cooker, so it will take no more than half an hour to be made flesh; For optimal results, first we’ll take the ingredients as I have said before we left to do for a few minutes and finally close the pot so that just made; no more difficult !!! We serve together with some fries and a canned peppers.




The Cabbage Salad Recipe is very simple to perform, while very healthy as all the vegetables from our garden.

This week we continue with vegetable recipes to purify our body after the Christmas delicacies.

This recipe is closely related to the one just published, white Beans Recipe and one of my first post and one of my favorite recipes, which never fails my Christmas meals, Clams Recipe.
Typical dishes of the cuisine of northern Spain, and therefore an exaltation of the Spanish Cuisine.
Withe Beans with clams Recipe, very simple to perform.

– 1 kg. white beans.
– 1/2 kg of clams.
– Parsley.
– 1 onion.
– 1 clove of garlic.
– Olive oil and salt.

Come I said in the previous post prescription white beans, in this case we leave the beans to soak the night before.
The first thing we do the next day is the bean stew; to pour it in the pot, the water we cover, so that we exceed at least one finger, add the onion and finely chopped garlic, parsley and a splash of olive oil.
Below let it boil over medium heat, we must monitor not to remain without water, and they always have a surplus level finger, in this way we stay a very tasty and filling soup.

We prepare clams apart by Clams Recipe.

Finally, we mix the pil pil with clams into the pot of beans and we continue to a boil over low heat so that the ingredients are blended, add salt. And you’re ready to enjoy !!!



Christmas comes and what better to prepare a typical sweet of these dates as Recipe Marron Glacé.
Despite being an easy recipe to make, you have to be very careful when preparing chestnuts, as these should not be broken, we should pay attention to the good presentation of our dishes because they must “get” first through the eyes of the diners .
Let our Recipe, Let’s go, Foodies !!!!

– Half Kg. chestnuts.
– 400 gr. of sugar.
– 1 vanilla pod or 2 tablespoons vanilla sugar.

We take a small cut in each of the chestnuts and then put them in hot water blanching about 10 minutes.
Then also we are taking away the peel, thin skin being careful not to break.
The we put in a saucepan with water and let cook until tender.

While the syrup prepared with the following ingredients;
– 1 liter of water.
– The 400 gr. of sugar
– The vanilla bean.
Mix everything in a saucepan and cook over medium heat 15 minutes.
After the minutes, we lower the heat to low and add the chestnuts, now being careful not to break the cook for about 10 minutes.
After this time, we turn off the heat and let stand chestnuts in this syrup for 24 hours.

The next day is the last step that we have the oven.
We covered baking tray and put chestnuts, one by one, carefully 😉 below the bake for 20 to 125 ° until well dried.
Let cool and ready to serve.

Do not want to be heavy and insist that what is important in this Recipe is the care that must be taken so that we do not break the chestnuts, therefore, according to the minutes graduation I gave I each taking into account that has a kitchen and oven, rather than leave them until the end of time I have given, it is preferable to go looking for doneness every so often, because chestnuts are broken very easily and although the taste does not change the presentation YUP.!!

Today we celebrate Thanksgiving Day with pumpkin cake, we will quickly prepare and enjoyable to be ready for a snack.

– 300 grams of grated pumpkin without skin (it cut the pumpkin into pieces and grate with a grater, being careful not to cut off).
– 250 grams of sugar
– 300 grams of bread flour
– 100 grams of olive oil
– 4 eggs
– 1 package yeast

We begin whisking eggs in a bowl, once this is done, add the sugar and stir well with a shovel silicone or wooden spoon to integrate the ingredients well.
We continue to add the remaining ingredients of the recipe, in the case of flour and yeast, we unite in a separate bowl and sift before.
Finally once everything well mixed beat with mixer.

Let stand the mixture in the bowl covered with a cloth or plastic wrap, half an hour while we light the oven to 250 degrees and wait for it to warm up.
We spread well buttered mold when mixture begins to bubble (which is already fermenting) threw him into the mold and then baked.
I used to decorate icing and you’re ready to celebrate  Thanksgiving Day.

Here we go with an ideal time for this recipe, it’s time to eat healthy and homemade taste, and to do nothing better than a good stew of chickpeas.

– Half a kilo of chickpeas (serves 4) that let soak from the previous day.

This recipe will develop from two others, which as I told you is the basis of the tradional Spanish cuisine, also the Stew Recipe and Chicken Soup Recipes.
Well we started throwing the chickpeas in the pot, previously washed in tap water, add the chopped carrot, bone and meat.
Now add the chicken soup until we cover the ingredients well and 2 fingers left over.
We put to boil over high heat, when it starts to boil add the stew (sofrito) and sausages cooking, stir and lower the heat to medium; if we are using a pot expres the cover and let cook for 20-30 minutes.
Once rested and already can open, open it and add 2 peeled and cubed potatoes and return to boil 10 minutes.
I recommend this recipe at night, thus the next day already relaxed and thick broth, is ready to eat !!! Enjoy your meal !!!! 😉

Today it’s dessert, and also the fruits that I have collected these days in the mountains, hazelnuts, is a recipe divided into three parts, first the cake, the other cover and finally the bathroom, in this way we have the wet cake.

Ingredients (serves 6):

For the cake;
– 5 medium eggs

– 5 tablespoons sugar
– 5 tablespoons flour
– Medium on yeast
– Butter for greasing.

For coverage;
– 1/4 kilo of peeled hazelnuts, toasted (5 minutes in the oven at 150 °) and ground
– 4 egg yolks
– 4 egg whites

– 8 tablespoons sugar

For bathroom;
– A splash of sherry or brandy
– 2 tablespoons sugar.

First, prepare the cake with ingredients that I have indicated, we spread the pan with butter, pour the ingredients and cook for 15 minutes at 200 ° maximum.

– Half a kilo of pumpkin
– 2 potatoes
– 1 spring onion
– Average garlic
– 100 ml. cream
– Salt and pepper and olive oil

We started chopping all the ingredients, pumpkin (do not peel, when baking is soft), potatoes, onions and garlic.
Pour all ingredients in a pot, we take water to cover the contents and finally add a splash of oil, salt and pepper, and put them to cook over high heat for a few minutes.
When all the ingredients are well cuddly, remove from heat.
Next we all for a potato masher and add the cream, go through the blender; it is ready!!! we have our recipe for pumpkin cream, now we only need to serve and decorate, to do this we can choose to take a stream of olive oil or, put a few pieces of ham or fry some vegetables like broccoli or asparagus and place above the cream. Anyone is a spectacular result.
